            The web page opened by clicking the "Open in Explorer" link in the Blockpool Wallet (BPLClient) times-out or does not display

            Issue

            The web page opened by clicking the "Open in Explorer" link in the Blockpool Wallet (BPLClient) times-out or does not display. The errors returned in the Chrome browser include:
            • ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
            • ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

            Affected components

            • Blockpool Wallet (BPLClient)

            Cause

            The link to Blockpool Explorer is incorrect in mainnet configuration.

            Workaround

            1. Click the settings icon in the top bar of BPLClient ( )
            2. Choose "Manage Networks" from the dropdown menu
            3. Enter or copy/paste the following into find the field labeled "Explorer" at the bottom of the window:
            4. http:bplexp.blockpool.io
            5. Click the Save button
            6. Restart the BPLClient applicaton.

            Details

            The default link to the Explorer in the mainnet configuration of the Blockpool Wallet navigates directly to an IP address that is not available. This is a known issue that will be corrected in a future release of Blockpool Wallet
